University of Southampton Case Study

When deciding to move our Health & Safety training to an e-Learning platform we considered a number of companies as part of a tendering process.

The front end with sound and test feedback from Staff suggested that the Safety Media product was preferred by the majority of users.

E-Learning was our chosen method of training as it was cost effective and allowed staff 24/7 access to the basic Health and Safety training modules. This coupled with the provision of completion and competency based records meant it was also time efficient for our needs.

The decision making process took around 12 months to ensure all departments and people involved in the decision making process were kept in the loop and happy with the actions being taken. The team at Safety Media were always on hand during this period to make sure we had all of the information we needed to make this process as smooth as possible.

The training received during the implementation period was of a high standard and has also been on-going, we even received an onsite visit from our Support Manager which was above and beyond our expectations.

The bespoke Introduction to Health & Safety Course that was developed for University of Southampton has been well received by the people using the course and has met our expectations regarding quality and content. Overall we are very satisfied with the Safety Media Learning Management System and we look forward to continue to use the system introducing new courses to our employees as appropriate.
